Undated, first edition 1842. Set of six volumes uniformly bound in brown half leather with marbled boards. Gilt title, bands, and motifs to spine. Neat ink inscription to ffep each volume except 6. Appears that the spines have been renewed. Surface loss to front board of volume 1, spine of volume 5. Pages are a little thumbed and soiled in places with occasional foxing, clean and bright for the most part. Overall good condition. A smart set, scarce complete on the market.
