Dommus Bernardus De Montfaucon. A two volume set with later bindings in half burgundy leather with cloth boards. The leather is quite worn with pieces missing to each spine. The boards to volume one are bound in burgundy while volume two has been bound in orange cloth. The front and rear end-papers to volume two have not been finished and are a little rough. Some surface wear with a little discolouration. The internal hinges to volume one have been reinforced with white cloth. Internally the pages are a little foxed and toned consistent with the books age. Pages however are generally clean. Abraham Trommius' massive concordance of the Septuagint, a Greek version of the Jewish Scriptures redacted in the 3rd and 2nd centuries BC by Jewish scholars and adopted by Greek-speaking Christians. Added matter supplied by Bernard de Montfaucon (1655-1741) and Lambert Bos (1670-1717). Text in Latin and Greek.
