In the historic Rock he meets, and falls in love with, a very attractive girl. But this girl's Aunt proves a very suspicious, not to say dubious, person, and he is torn by doubt. Whilst he is wrestling with this problem, he himself - a man who has always hated melodrama - is plunged into a series of sensational happenings, during the course of which his life is more than once at stake."
