Richly decorated with full-colour illustrations by Katherine Wigglesworth. Original dust cover. From Uttley's series of books inspired by her original storytelling throughout her son's childhood. Dust cover features small tears to front and fading / creasing to spine. Large tear across back which has been repaired with clear tape. Underneath lie pictorial blue boards mirroring dust jacket, no fading to spine but shelf wear to extremities. Two-page illustration covering front pastedown and ffep which has been coloured in by previous owner - this can also be seen for the bfep. Biro inscription to reverse of ffep. Internally, no marks or notations - a cleanly printed copy. Overall, a good condition copy of a classic 1970 children's book with evidence of previous ownership.
