'Raymond Jacberns' was a pseudonym used by Georgiana Mary Isabel Ash, born in 1866 in Montreaux, France. Deep, bright crimson cloth boards with gilt and black pictorial front board and spine. Minor shelf wear to extremities of spine. Spine is faded to a lightly faded though illustration is still clear. Light pink endpapers with a little tanning. Front pastedown includes presentation inscription - looks to be dated 1917. Foxing to text block edge but rarely disrupts internals. Features six coloured illustrations with original tissue guard to full-colour frontispiece. Overall, good/very good condition. 275pp.
