Handsome crimson pictorial boards with gilt lettering to front and spine both in good condition despite some fading due to age. Rear board has some minor staining. Fore edge of the text block shows a little foxing. There is a prize plaque to the pasted down front end paper dated 1920 which has imprinted on the front free end paper also showing some tanning. Pages are otherwise clean and bright with very occasional foxing. pp.237. Would make an ideal gift.
