First Edition. Original blind embossed cloth boards although sound are discoloured, possibly caused by damp with creasing to the front. Bright gilt pictorial and titles to the front and spine. Binding a little weak with cracking to the interior hinges. Previous owners ink signature to the front paste down and to the verso of the half title page, initials to the illustrations page. Minor pencil notation/ lines throughout. Pages lightly toned although clean, illustrated with ten plates and vignette to the half title page. pp. 127 + 32.
