Hard Back. Beautifully bound in rich red cloth with gilt design and titles to the front and spine. In good condition although a little faded especially to the spine. Top right hand corner of the front board has been slightly caught by damp with bleed through of the red cloth to the corners of the front endpapers. Top edge of the text block gilt and still fairly bright. Presentation label to the front paste down dated 1913. Beautifully illustrated title page copying the design from the front board. Tipped in full page colour frontispiece with 19 further plates throughout all present and in good condition. There is some foxing, however the pages are generally clean. Arranged by Mabel And Lilian Quiller-Couch. Illustrations by M. Etheldreda Gray. pp. 336. Overall a lovely copy. Would make an ideal gift.
