First Editions Hard Back. Published from 1977 to 1994. Illustrated dust jackets with faded to the spines and off-setting to the front and rear covers. Minor edge wear especially to volume 1 with large closed tears along the front edge. Not price clipped. Rich navy cloth boards in good condition despite a little fading to the extremities, with titles in gilt to the spines. Volumes 2 to 9 have a previous owners' neat inscription and bookplate to the front free endpaper. The pages to volumes 1 and 2 are lightly toned with creasing towards the rear of volume 1 and foxing to the prelims of volume 2. The rest of the volumes are clean and bright throughout. Loose errata slip inserted into volume 4.
