First published in 1902 this edition was published at the University Press, Oxford in 1968. Hardback. Ex-library edition with the usual stamps and marks. Bound in royal blue cloth with titles in gilt to the spines. There is some faint tape residue to the top and base of the front and rear boards otherwise the binding remains in good condition. Thick black pen marks to the edges of the text block. The front free endpaper to volume one is missing and there is a library ink stamp to the base of the title page. The rest of the pages are free of any stamps or foxing. Volume I, pp. viii + 442. Volume II, pp. 356. Overall a good set.
