Eccentric ex-library book with elegant pictorial of Sir Tomas Phillips to front of jacket repeated as full colour frontispiece. Black endpapers add a nice touch. Pages bright and clean despite an ex-library stamp. Jacket front flap is ripped at the bottom and there is some wear to the extremities of the jacket. Very tight binding. pp.xvii+278. Overall good. A brilliant volume for the curious.
