An Essay on Medieval Economic Teaching

George O'Brien

Edition: First Edition

Published By: Longmans, Green, And Co.

Hard back. Both front and rear boards are rather worn, with particular to the extremities. The spine is worn along both top and bottom edges, and is rather faded. The edges of the pages are rather worn. The binding is a little loose. Internally, there is some toning and foxing throughout the front and rear end papers, and into the index. There is a bookplate on the verso of the front board, a small pencil inscription and stamp in the front free end papers, and an ink inscription on the half title page, all belonging to previous owners. The pages are a little faded, but the text is readable throughout. pp. 242. Overall, a very good copy of this interesting examination of the economic principles and rules which guided the economic and social relations of the Middle Ages.
